PEPPER is an ANR funded project aiming at building a coherent and comprehensive description of the mass-loss mechanism in evolved cool stars, who are major cosmic engines, providing strong mechanical, chemical, and radiative feedback on their host environment.
The core of the project is the synergy between theory and observation. The project includes four different working nodes who will pool their respective skills in theoretical and observational tasks to propose a global view of cool stars from the photosphere to the Circumstellar envelopes.
