My main interests:

Galaxy clusters, physics of cluster formation and evolution, multiwavelength analysis, clusters as cosmological probes
My journey:
I started my career working on statistical analysis of the galaxy distribution (two-point correlation functions, high order statistics) and on the caracterization of the large-scale structure in the Universe (super-clusters...)
After more than 10 years on this topic, I focused on the densest regions lying at the nodes of the cosmic web: galaxy clusters. I got captivated by these outstanding objects, both by the complex physical processes at work on their different components (galaxies, gaz, dark matter) and by their enormous potentiality as cosmological probes, once overcome the dfifficulty to control systematics.
I have been working on the process of cluster formation through the analysis of multiwavelength observations (optical, X-ray, mm, radio) of merging clusters.
I am member of the Euclid Consortium since 2011 and I am deeply involved in the preparation of the scientific exploitation of the Euclid mission in the field of clusters of galaxies. I was awarded the status of builder in 2021 in acknowledgment of my work on the project.
I am leading, together with Emiliano Munari (INAF), the Euclid SGS OU-LE3 WP dedicated to Clusters of Galaxies, which is in charge of developing and implementing codes to detect, characterize and evaluate the clustering properties of these objects.
I pursue my understanding of physical processes at work in clusters in the CHEX-MATE multi-wavelength collaboration, and participate to the GTO extragalactic survey MOONRISE to be performed very soon with MOONS.
