Post-AIT residual aberrations are of the order of 40 nm RMS. These were reduced to 28 nm RMS by implementing the differential optical transfer function algorithm (Codona et al. 2013). Measurement and correction were performed using the bench's IRIS AO segmented DM. In the visible channel, the optical quality drops from 86% Strehl's ratio @650nm (lambda/16) to 92% (lambda/20 RMS) - the first 2 images from the left - and in the NiR channel from 96% @ 1650nm (lambda/30 RMS) to >98% (lambda/40 RMS) - last 2 frames from left.
