The telescope simulator of the SPEED bench incorporates a tip/tilt mirror where a physical mask is installed to mimic the secondary support structures with 30% central obscuration and 6 spider vanes, the IRIS AO PTT489 segmented mirror and the first OAP, as well as a flat mirror. The mechanical structure emphasizes the stability of the whole system.
